Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office/Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team! This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions, supporting administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining financial records and documents
  • Perform data entry tasks to update financial information
  • Process invoices, statements, and receipts
  • Scan paper documents and download electronic documents
  • Organize and maintain electronic filing systems (training will be provided)
  • Identifies and helps to correct mistakes in data or documents
  • Communicates with vendors and clients to gather information and resolve issues
  • Process documents in compliance with company processes and standards
  • Other duties, as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong number sense and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Honest and ethical conduct, committed to maintaining confidentiality with respect to the company’s financial data
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Careful to give attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Follows established guidelines, checklists, and procedures without skipping steps
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
