about us
The Haven Mental Health Counseling provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for adults, children and teens in a warm, welcoming environment where clients can feel seen, supported and understood.
Founded by Licensed Professional Counselor Hannah Harren, The Haven was created as a safe place to land when life feels heavy. Hannah's approach is grounded, practical and centered around each client's individual needs and goals. With more than 16 years of previous experience as a hospice nurse, she brings a deep understanding of grief, caregiving, resilience and the many challenges people carry throughout life.
The Haven specializes in areas including stress and anxiety management, compassion fatigue, women's mental health, grief and loss, recovery from narcissistic or emotionally unhealthy relationships, high-functioning fatigue, boundaries and people-pleasing, body image, relationship struggles and childhood trauma. Limited appointments are also available for children and teens experiencing emotional challenges, low self-esteem, grief, social pressures, attention difficulties or struggles at school.
Therapy is available in person at The Haven's Sauk Centre office or through secure telehealth appointments for clients located anywhere in Minnesota. The Haven is a private-pay practice committed to providing personalized care with authenticity, practicality, dignity and compassion.
Clients do not have to wait until they reach a breaking point to ask for support. The Haven offers a place to slow down, begin healing and move toward a healthier, more sustainable life.
