About the Class
Join Feathered Acres for a cozy, community-focused class exploring the art of winter sowing. Winter sowing is a simple, low-cost method of starting seeds outdoors during winter using repurposed containers.
Participants will learn how to choose the best seeds for winter sowing, prepare and label mini greenhouses, and place containers outdoors so nature can do the work.
A seed exchange will also be held. Guests are encouraged to bring extra seeds to share or swap, though it is not required. This class is ideal for experienced gardeners, seed savers, and beginners looking to learn something new during the winter months.
